Brokenness is observed as an invitation to transform the object in unexpected ways, as a transformative repair. The artworks in this portfolio are made from salvaged broken objects, they question concepts of repair and its historical impetus for a return to wholeness and former utility. The repair made visible is an embodied repair, that reveals narratives of loss and longing, injury and healing.
